I enjoy watching science programs on TV… black holes and solar flares, quasars and comets seasoned with a dash of time travel, garnished with quotes by Einstein and Sagan, and topped off by explanations void of definitive answers leaving you unsatisified but wanting more. A recurring mantra is that although there is a theoretical ability to travel near the speed of light, we could never match or exceed it. I disagree. If someone was traveling the speed of light and looked over their shoulder at you, your relative speed would match theirs even if you were standing still. Radiating from the foci would be an infinite number of magnetic fields, singularly static but collectively fluid. This is the past and the future. Within the duality of this system, you would always be traveling at the speed of light but no faster, however, certain self-centristic characteristics of the universe allow you to break this barrier and I’ll even tell you how. Clear your mind, close your eyes and count to ten……….So how did it feel? The only time we are not traveling faster than the speed of light is when we aren’t concentrated on the present moment and are instead lost in comparison. So is time travel possible? Yep and now the only question is. “How far down does the rabbit hole go?”
