By the stars that blaze and the moon that wanes,
By the ancient fire in the blood that reigns,
I call upon the veils of night and day,
To shield my mind from what would sway.
O forces bound by iron will,
O spirits quiet, vast, and still,
From realms unseen and shadows deep,
Awaken now, arise and keep.
A fortress strong, a wall of light,
A mirrored shield, a diamond’s might.
Reflect, deflect, dispel the snare,
Let no ill thought or curse ensnare.
By root and stone, by wind and flame,
I seal my mind, I guard my name.
No thought unbidden shall take hold,
No whisper dark, no spell foretold.
I bind the power that would intrude,
I cast away the shadows crude.
With iron oath and silver thread,
I weave a helm to guard my head.
From the depths below to the stars above,
I call the bonds of ancient love.
Protected, pure, my spirit whole,
A blazing shield around my soul.
So let it be, by word and seal,
No harm shall pass, no fear I feel.
The gates are shut, the walls are high,
My mind is mine until I die.
Guardians strong, spirits true,
I summon thee, I call on you.
Stand beside, around, within,
Until this spell begins again.
By the power vested, fierce and old,
This mind is safe, this heart is bold.
So mote it be, by night and sun,
This spell is cast, this work is done.
