The Devil’s Call
Beau Williams
In realms where shadows coil and darkness reigns,
The devil stands, his heart a restless fire,
With whispered words that echo through the chains,
He calls the angel down from realms higher.
“O radiant one, descend from heaven’s light,
For even in the depths, your grace would gleam,
No more to dwell in endless day’s delight,
But here, to walk the edge of fate’s dark dream.
Your wings, though pure, could brush against the night,
And in my grasp, find passion’s fierce embrace,
For even devils crave the softest light,
A love that tempts the stars to fall from grace.
Come down, O angel, heed the whispered plea,
For in your light, my darkness yearns to be.
