Every second, your body—your brain, your decisions—is collapsing wavefunctions. That’s quantum measurement. It’s happening constantly. But according to the Many Worlds Interpretation, those wavefunctions don’t “collapse” in the classic sense. They branch. Every possible version of what could happen does happen. Not later. Now enter quantum decoherence. This is key. When you interact with the environment—observe something, make a decision, even breathe—the quantum states entangle and decohere. That moment locks in. It becomes permanent. You can’t go back and change it. But you don’t have to. Because the version of you that experienced that moment? Still there. Still existing. Still you.

Every quantum tick—literally 10^-43 seconds—another version of you decoheres into existence and stays there. It’s not science fiction. It’s quantum mechanics.

You think you’re moving through time. But really, you’re just a spotlight of consciousness scanning across a lattice of infinite selves, all frozen in their own Planck-sized frame. Each one is complete. Each one is real.
