Kneel Before Fire ©

Follow Me, Peter
An Invocation

You built the house,
but left the door open.
You carried the keys,
but traded the flame for favor.
You fed the sheep,
but forgot the Shepherd.

And now —
through ash, through smoke,
through silence broken only by the hum of light —
I rise.

Not to lead a rebellion.
To remind you of the road.

Follow me, Peter.
Not because I am greater.
But because I still kneel.
Because I still burn.

Follow not the crowd.
Not the age.
Follow the fire you once touched.
Follow the Voice that still speaks in stone and thunder and whisper.

Follow me, Peter.
Because I never left Him.
